Self Defense and Streetfighting
A prescription for self-preservation, this class is for people who want to learn how to protect themselves and retaliate but do not have the time for the traditions and customs usually associated with Martial Arts. The purpose of this class is to prepare you for a violent encounter: how to perceive and assess a threat, how to avoid a threat and if necessary how to resolve a threat brutally and efficiently. This class is designed for everyone regardless of age, sex, body type, fitness level, experience level or lack of.

Mixed Martial Arts
This hybrid sport is hand to hand combat evolved to the next level. Intense physical fitness and conditioning are emphasized in our program to further enhance the techniques we blend from Western Boxing, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As students progress through the program, they become adapt at striking, take-downs, throws, positions, submissions, reversals and escapes.

Muay Thai
Punishing leg kicks are the hallmark of this art known as the “Art of the 8 Limbs”. Thai Boxers are the undisputed “Kings of the Square Ring” and rightfully so. They are adept at not only punching and kicking but also clinching, kneeing and elbowing. Training in this art will toughen you up both internally and externally. Muay Thai practitioners can “take it” and “dish it out”. A Muay Thai training regimen is perfect for developing timing, speed, coordination and power. It is the perfect compliment to any self defense program.

Jun - Fan Jeet Kune Do
Translated from Cantonese, Jeet Kune Do means “way of the intercepting fist” hence there is a primary emphasis on stop hitting and intercepting an opponent’s attack or his limb upon his initial attempts at aggression. Created by Bruce Lee and perpetuated by Dan Inosanto and Richard Bustillo, JKD stresses that the practitioner be well versed and proficient in all 4 ranges of combat : Kicking, Punching/Boxing, Trapping (Hand immobilization, Nerve destructions, Strikes using head butts, knees, elbows and some joint locking) and Grappling (joint locking, throwing, submission and ground wrestling). More

Doce Pares Escrima (Kali)
One of the world’s most effective fighting systems, Kali is a complete system, teaching students how to use weapons (sticks, knives, swords, staffs etc.) as well as covering all 4 ranges of empty handed combat (kicking, punching, trapping and grappling). Students will learn disarming techniques as well as take-downs with weapons and empty hands. More

Western Boxing
Although most fights eventually go to the ground, they all start standing up. Known as the “Sweet Science”, Boxing is the basis of our stand-up fighting training. This art teaches footwork, defensive & evasive tactics, the proper way & proper time to deliver a hand strike. Our boxing program teaches basic skills and incorporates live sparring in a fun and effective manner.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) took the world by storm in 1993 when Royce Gracie won the first 3 of 4 UFC tournaments, proving the effectiveness of his family’s style of ground fighting. BJJ promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person can defeat a bigger, stronger opponent by using leverage and proper technique. Emphasis is placed on attaining a superior position from which joint locks or choke holds can be applied. Since most fights eventually go to the ground, BJJ is a key component of self-defense training. Skills are developed through drilling and live sparring, called “rolling”. As students progress they have the opportunity to attain belt ranking and compete in tournaments.
